Juunanagou

The man with Mandark hair. ^o^

I think Gero burned that smirk into his face. ^^

Okay, first let me explain the long-winded names of the three androids:

Juunanagou: Android 17, the shrinee of this shrine. ^^'

Juuhachigou: Android 18, the fashionable chick.

Juurokugou: Android 16. Big guy, just as strong as the first Cell.

In all my years of DBZ (four) I SWORE I'd never, ever, ever, ever become a member of the Juunanagou bandwagon. However, just a few days ago, I got my first Cell saga tape. It featured "Goodbye, 17" and BAM. There it was. A new bishounen.

You're despicable. -_-'

Yes...yes, I am.

Juunanagou was designed by the former scientist of the Red Ribbon Army (back in DB, 'member??), Dr. Gero. Not having a job really pissed off the docter, so he went and created some androids. We only see 5 in the anime, but since the number ends in 20, we can guess there were 15 more. There were 3 more in a movie (methinks), but since that's a movie and the movies aren't considered in the DBZ plotline, we'll forget about them. ^^

Out of the three Androids (the others being Juuhachigou and Juurokugou), he's the second strongest. His favorite thing to do is ride around in a car whilst mowing down people and beating down your average hyperactive bikers. After he's absorbed by Cell and Cell is killed, Kuririn wishes him back because he thinks that Juunanagou and Juuhachigou are a couple.

He also wishes for Shenlong to make the twins human but that is beyond the dragon's power. Stupid or what? He can bring entire planets back, but he can't make two people human. Bah.

ANYWAY, since that can't be done, the bombs that Gero put in them in case of emergency are taken out. Juunanagou takes off and we don't see him until the moment Goku creates a Genkai Bomb to obliterate the later threat of Majin Buu *snarl*. This is in Manga 42. When Earth's citizens offer up their hands, we see Juunanagou in the forest wearing a sheepskin jacket and holding a rifle. He smiles, raises a hand, and says, "So it's him...Hmph. Haven't heard that voice in a while."

He later appears in DBGT. Now, I promise you that I absolutely HATE GT for reasons later explained in Humor, but that's a different story. Down in Hell (HFIL), Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu created a second Juunanagou, naming it "Hell Fighter Juunanagou". Why?

Accoriding the good ole' Gero, the original Juunanagou was actually STRONGER than Cell, but his human emotions and grudge against Gero held him back from full power. The second model held no memories or emotions, leaving him under control of Gero and Myuu. They believed that when Old Juunanagou and Hell Fighter fused, a new ultimate warrior would be theirs to control. Gee goly gosh, when did THAT ever work!?!? -_-'

Hell Fighter meets up with Juunanagou and offers him the idea. I'm not sur if Juunanagou accepts or not (I have a feeling he refused), but he is put under Hell Fighter's spell. Juunangou (remember, he's hypnotized), goes to his sister and tries to have her join him to rule the world. When Juuhachigou refuses, Juunangou attacks and kills Kuririn, which pisses off Juuhachigou. She and Goku are forced to join up and attack Juunanagou to defend the world, blah blah blah...

Sooner or later, Juunanagou and Hell Fighter fuse, making the REALLY ugly Super #17, also known as "the Ultimate Cyborg". He kills Myuu and Gero. Gosh...didn't see that coming!! Only one thing was able to stop him: his sister. Seems the old Juunanagou held a soft spot for his sister and didn't want to hurt her. AW!! But this was the cyborg's demise, as he was killed by Juuhachigou and SSJ4 Goku in Episode 47.

Super (UGLY) #17
